JORD GIFTING FOR CHRISTMAS

For anyone who has followed me for a while, you know that I am a big fan of JORD wooden watches. I wear my Frankie 35 with the mint watch face all the time and particularly love the way it stands out during the summer. I tend to get a lot of interest when I do wear it as it does look so unique and different, so partnering up again with JORD this time for the Christmas  gifting season was a given. This time I picked out a men's watch for my dad that I felt was really classy, but quite industrial looking that gave it a bit of edge. The watch I went for was the Hyde style in walnut and black that you can find here. The face is slightly oversized for a chunky fit, all the while with a stunning sharp crystal glass face.

I photographed it on my partner's wrist and loved the way it reflected the green of his jacket and almost changed the colour of the watch face. Once it was on his wrist I really began to notice just how versatile it was when you pair it with different outfits...it even seemed to work with more of a formal look which I was quite surprised about!

Since I will be gifting this watch for Christmas I knew I really wanted the packaging to stand out and look amazing under the tree. So instead of using wrapping paper to wrap over the JORD packaging I actually decided to work with it. All JORD watches come in quite a robust wooden box with drawers, and various bits and pieces to help maintain the wood and really look after the watch. I thought rather than covering the box up I would actually just wrap a ribbon around it to keep things simple and really make things different. In the second set of photos, you can see the JORD packaging just how gorgeous it looks under my Christmas lights!
