There is nothing more annoying than a rainy day when you need to get places but unfortunately in London, as you would imagine it is also relatively frequent. Somehow even considering the fact that I mostly grew up here I still manage to forget my umbrella more times than I care to remember! I was lucky enough over my time working in Ecom for Burberry to amass a small but perfectly formed trench coat collection. These pieces definitely come in handy for the many unpredictable days in the city. The one I am wearing in the photos I actually won at their Christmas party and I got to pick out a bespoke trench as a prize, including *drum roll please* personalised monogramming inside. As this particular trench coat is quite special to me I actually don't wear it as often as I perhaps should but when I do not only am I kept super warm and cosy but I am also protected from the rain.

Underneath my trench, I decided to opt for double denim and my trusty sock boots that have just been the most comfortable heeled shoes of the season, though not very water-resistant! Jewellery-wise I have an array of different gold rings from my mum, Astley Clarke & Monica Vinader. I also went for some bold gold-toned earrings that I got on sale over the Summer from Mango to make things a little more interesting. Of course, I couldn't go without mentioning my lovely Dior saddle bag which again used to be my mum's from the 90s. Lately, for me, there has definitely been a resurgence of accessories and bags coming back into fashion that were once cool in the 80s and 90s and I love it! This one especially is one of my favourites, it is easy and small perfect for the everyday bag whilst being gorgeous even the silk scarf design on the inside is something to be admired!

Wearing: Burberry Trench, Anthropologie Denim shirt, Brandy Melville jeans, Zara sock Boots, Rings by Monica Vinader, Astley Clarke, Cartier, Earrings by Mango, Bag by Dior. I have included similar alternatives where the exact item is unavailable.
