Fashion

Our team are all obsessed with fashion… Our founder Carolina even studied to become a designer. Our styles are continuously evolving, but generally, we favour simple and sleek silhouettes with a bohemian twist.

Our concerns with sensitive skin mean that we care deeply about the fabrics in our clothes. We only feature garments that feel good on the skin and don’t scratch or irritate. We love luxurious designers but are always keen to mix it up with high street brands.

The Sensitive Skin Guide to a Cosy Bed

[3 MINUTE READ]     During this time whilst we are all trying to stay at home we thought we would share some of our sensitive skin bedding favourites.   Bedding is something that often doesn’t get enough thought but is actually such an essential to get right. Never is the bedding you choose more important than when you have allergic, or sensitive skin.           Super soft, non-irritating bedding suitable for more sensitive skins really is the difference between a great nights sleep or a nightmare.   So here are our favourite bedding and cosy bedroom…

The Best Pyjamas to Invest in Right Now

Still spending your weekend in Pyjamas? Me too and I intend to remain in them until Spring hits… So quite frankly I felt there could be nothing better that putting together a few of my favourite pyjamas.   Apparently we spend 26 years of our lives sleeping and if you want to get a resful sleep there is honestly nothing better than curling up in the softest cotton or silk. Investing does not have to break the bank, so there are options for all price points.   However, if you are looking for the ultimate in luxury pyjamas there…

How to do Tonal Dressing in Winter

For other sensitive skin souls like myself, Winter dressing can be incredibly annoying! With scratchy, woollen fabrics and 100 layers to keep you warm its no wonder our skin ends up so irritated and itchy! Tonal Dressing is one way to really step things up in the most comfortable way possible!   In the colder, winter months lets be honest…all you really want to wear are ridiculously cosy, non-irritating fabrics topped off with a blanket over the top! So far not so chic. However, after another cosy evening in watching The Holiday I started thinking about how goddam chic…

Gayeon Lee for me is the designer who’s designs are unique and beautiful but also so wearable. I have now been to see Gayeon Lee the past 2 years at London Fashion Week and each time I fall in love with the innovative ways she pulls fabrics, textures and colours together to build a piece.   Gayeon has been selected to collaborate with Swarovski for both seasons last year and also won the Vogue Talents award in 2016; she is definitely a designer to watch…         Hi Gayeon! What is Rewardstyle & LiketoKnow.it & How to use it to Shop

Earlier this year I partnered up with Rewardstyle & LiketoKnow.it and started using their apps and tools. Since then they have been an amazing part of my blog and Instagram and have become one of the main ways I use to shop other influencer’s home’s, outfits and beauty. As I was unsure about a lot on what Rewardstyle & Liketoknow.it  is and how to use them I thought it might be helpful to share.         Rewardstyle is essentially an influencer tool. It allows you to earn commission each time someone buys a product off your recommendation. This…

My June Fashion Favourites

For me June signals the start of proper summer as well as my birthday! So I always seem to have a hell of a lot on my wishlist during this month. Plus I try as much as possible to be on holiday during my birthday so naturally there’s always a few fashion items I’ve got my eye on for a holiday. For me, I love to know what’s new in around the shops and what people are loving. With that in mind, this is the June monthly round-up of the best things in the shops that I am loving.

My May Fashion Favourites

This is the first of hopefully an ongoing monthly series where I will pull all my monthly favourite fashion items together. For me, I love to know what’s new in around the shops and what people are loving so with that in mind this should be a monthly round-up of the best things in the shops that I am loving!   For May although it’s certainly not warm yet, though we did get a very warm Easter weekend, summer clothes are very much on my radar in terms of fashion favourites. I am loving all things linen and when…

The Pastel Coat You Need For Spring

There comes a time where you are bored of winter and all its dreariness and need a sign of hope of warmer times to come…and this comes in the form of a spring item. The item needs to be bold, bright and happy and this year I found it in the form of a mint spring coat from Mango! This baby makes me happy, and while the snow might be falling and the temperature might be -2 degrees celsius, spring will come all of a sudden and I will be able to wear this and my other warmer…

Back To The 70s

Lately, I have really been drawn to all things 70s, from the autumn hues to the shapes and silhouettes. For me today’s outfit really reminds me of the old photos my mum used to show me of her in her teenage years and early 20s. Mustard, in particular, is a colour I have seen everywhere the last two seasons and have continued to love throughout Winter. This little jacket is perfect for throwing over any look, adding a pop of colour in a cosy, contemporary way.   Flares are something I always really avoided, as I just really felt…

Power Puffa Girl

Ever so suddenly the freezing cold weather of winter has descended on London and it is sooo sooo cold!! I am generally not the greatest at being cold and a big part of that is definitely the fact that I am very lazy about wearing the winter essentials; gloves, hats etc. As well as the fact that I also generally not a fan of clothing layers. So instead, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to invest in a fun, oversized puffer jacket by the brand Puffa. Not only does it keep me super snug but also help me during…

Jord Gifting for Christmas

For anyone who has followed me for a while, you know that I am a big fan of JORD wooden watches. I wear my Frankie 35 with the mint watch face all the time and particularly love the way it stands out during the summer. I tend to get a lot of interest when I do wear it as it does look so unique and different, so partnering up again with JORD this time for the Christmas  gifting season was a given. This time I picked out a men’s watch for my dad that I felt was really classy, but…

How to Look put Together in Black & White

I love to experiment with my style but like many people, I often end up having a go-to uniform for those days that I just don’t have the patience to mix it up. Over time I have built a few essential looks for those days to create the perfect smart and put together look for almost any occasion. That go-to-uniform tends to be a smart-ish jumper, black trousers of some description, black heeled ankle boots and a crossbody bag.  Sometimes I do go for a silky style or even cotton shirt (like this one) but when it starts to get a bit…
