Fashion

Our team are all obsessed with fashion… Our founder Carolina even studied to become a designer. Our styles are continuously evolving, but generally, we favour simple and sleek silhouettes with a bohemian twist.

Our concerns with sensitive skin mean that we care deeply about the fabrics in our clothes. We only feature garments that feel good on the skin and don’t scratch or irritate. We love luxurious designers but are always keen to mix it up with high street brands.

Parisian Style in Budapest Part 2

For those of you who haven’t read part 1-click here to hear the first part of my Parisian style in Budapest blog post.  My final day in Budapest wasn’t quite as we had planned as unfortunately, my mum ended up getting sick. Luckily just before sunset, I still managed to visit the Buda Castle, Matthias church and Fisherman’s Bastion. For me, one of the best things about Budapest was definitely the architecture which is truly gorgeous. I particularly loved Matthias church and Fisherman’s Bastion which both looked like something out of a fairytale. The roof tiling on Matthias church was really…

Parisian Style in Budapest Part 1

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my mum’s birthday with her in Budapest, Hungary. We had such a lovely time, with the fantastic weather, good food and gorgeous architecture. Before I went on this trip I had heard people referring to Budapest as the Paris of the East, and I can definitely see why. It is incredibly romantic with the neo-romantic and gothic style architecture, relaxed culture and vibe. So I decided to dress the part for Parisian style in Budapest. We stayed at the Hotel Rum which was situated in such a great location for us to get…

The 5 Jewellery Essentials You Need for any Occasion

Whilst recently travelling this summer I realised that I had all the jewellery essentials I needed for every occasion within my mini jewellery box. I am not a fan of bringing lots and lots of things with me when I go on a trip. I also want to make sure that I do have everything I need…even when spontaneous events do come my way! These 5 jewellery essential pieces mean I know that I have all the accessories that I need to really finish off any look.   1.THE BOLD COCKTAIL RING The cocktail ring for me is perhaps the jewellery…

The Fluffy Shoes you Need for Autumn

When fluffy shoes first came out I was not so on board but as the trend has developed I have not only warmed to it but I have found so many different fluffy shoes out there that are incredibly wearable and fun! I first found these fluffy trainers whilst looking through Instagram and seeing photos of models at the Charlotte Simone LFW presentation with them on and I knew I had to get myself a pair! The collaboration between Charlotte Simone and Superga meant the easiness of the Superga trainer style partnered with the fun and playfulness of Charlotte Simone…

Ocean + Main Tunics

After being recently introduced to the sustainable Kaftan and tunics brand Ocean + Main and I have become totally obsessed with their pieces since then. They are based out in Los Angeles with a focus on creating limited edition, high-quality tunics. They are created in a sustainable way with absolutely no water, using upcycled materials and reducing waste wherever possible. I love a brand that focuses on finding ways around the huge amount of waste produced in the fashion industry, particularly when the pieces themselves are gorgeous too!   I am by no means an expert when it comes…

Sevilla Sevilla

Seville for me is one of those places which I just feel right at home as soon as I get there. Although I have been a couple of times when I was younger, I hadn’t really been as an adult so it was great making the 3-hour long drive over from Portugal to explore the city for the day. It has to be said for those of you that do not enjoy hot temperatures-beware as the heat in Seville is intense! The day we went it was no different and we wandered around enjoying the Cathedral, Plaza de Espana…

Postcards from Portugal

When I was young I used to spend my entire summer’s in the South of Portugal, jumping off the dock into the river, running around in the countryside and heading to the beach with Portuguese family. As is the way when you get older I get less time to come back but I always try to return as often as I can to do all of the above and to truly chill out. The beach for me has always had a very calming effect on me so I love to spend as many days as I can there but…

The Market Bag

One of the best things for me about being on holiday, particularly when I go back to Portugal is changing up my routine and paring things right back to basics. This is often the case with my clothing: comfy, cool, easy-to-throw-on pieces but also true of my beauty regime: pretty minimal.   Here I am wearing my Vetta wrap top which you will have no doubt already seen my multiple outfit posts as I just can’t seem to stop wearing it whilst the heat continues! I decided to wear it back to front so it ties loosely at the…

Lemon Trees & Vetta

Whilst in Portugal I ended up wearing my Vetta Capsule wrap top a lot with different outfits as it is so versatile and I got a lot of questions on my Instagram so I thought I would do a little post about them as I am a big fan! This post is not sponsored and just my honest opinion of a brand that I really admire!     I found the brand when I got interested in the idea of a capsule wardrobe earlier on this year and found them as they produce a curated edit of…

The Only Beach Accessories You Need

I find not only do these pieces somehow make a simple bikini or swimsuit so much more put together (is this even possible!) but they mean you don’t have to constantly be worried about taking those jewellery pieces to put on once you head to the bar/restaurant/club (delete appropriately).   Aside from jewellery, a hat is invaluable to me on a day at the beach and I either take any favourite straw hat of the moment or a simple NYC black cap. Although I tan well I am very cautious about the sun and always make sure that my…

The Only 2 Earrings You Need this Autumn

Unless you have been sat under a rock statement earrings are everywhere! From pom poms to giant hoops there are so many different styles out there but I have found that these 2 styles are perfect for taking me from the end of summer right through Autumn. Let’s start with the first pair I got on sale at Mango; gold in hue and with their bold, asymmetric shape they are perfect for dressing up any outfit, whether I’m wearing a classic t-shirt and jeans combo or a casual dress.    THE REASON THEY WORK: Gold suits most…

Ladylike in the Country

1 2 1 1 Follow my blog with Bloglovin I’m finally back in Portugal! For those of you that maybe don’t know I’m half Portuguese and although I live in London, I always try to go back to Portugal as much as I can to see my family and get some R&R. As soon as I am back, life suddenly takes a much slower pace… wearing my mum’s vintage dresses, staring out at the stars on the veranda, coffees, swims in the river, walks through town stopping to say hello to everyone you know. Everything seems to take double the…

Ciutadella

On the very final day of our Menorca trip we explored the gorgeous, small town of Ciutadella. The coffee was good and kept us fuelled as we wandered around shopping for straw bags and straw shoes. I wore my favourite ragged edged skirt from Zara and my off the shoulder Brandy Melville top alongside my go-to Stella McCartney bag and Asos sandals. I also wore my blue LA Nordstrom aviators which I love with this monchrome look.

Menorca Memories

This July I got to explore Menorca and completely relax in on a classic week-long summer break. We stayed in a gorgeous villa up in the centre of the Island and got to pay daily visits to the different beaches along the coast. The weather was slightly cloudy but just the perfect temperature. I brought along just the essentials and spent the week in Seafolly kaftans and my favourite bikinis. Above I am wearing my Kiini crocket bikini which I love, particularly with a bit more of a tan. Wherever I went I took along my giant Mary Poppin’s…

The Hat + Shorts Combo

As any of my regular readers may know I am a huge fan of this Topshop flared sleeve top; check this post out for more evidence! I find it is perfect for the summertime in London which can be pretty humid but also very temperamental. I have recently really loved wearing it with different shorts and love the way it looks, particularly here with the black and white combo.    wearing: Topshop flared sleeve top, Vetta Capsule Shorts, Urban Outfitters hat, Sixty Seven Asos Shoes, Accessories necklace.

YSL: Le Jardin Majorelle

One of the highlights of my trip to Marrakech definitely had to be a visit to the YSL Le Jardin Majorelle which we did on our final day in the city. As we were in Marrakech in low season (i.e. very very hot weather) it meant queues were short and once we were in it was actually very humid, compared to the dry heat we had previously experienced because of the many, different tropical plants.   The gardens themselves were gorgeous and colourful with lots of different and HUGE plants against a colourful backdrop of the main building. It is such a…

Adventures in Marrakech

Marrakech is one of the places I’ve wanted to visit for as long as I can remember…the magical colors, the chaotic souk markets, and the Arabic architecture! I was so lucky to be able to visit earlier this month for a long weekend to explore the city and all it has to offer. We arrived at our gorgeous Riad de Tarabel after a delayed flight and I really think it is one of the most enchanting and relaxing places I have ever stayed! Our room was so lovely and as it was so hot while we were in Morocco it was…

My Jord Watch Review

I had been wanting a very simple but unique watch for a while now and so when JORD reached out to me it felt like the perfect fit. I went for the Frankie 35 in dark sandalwood and mint as I wanted something that would provide a bit of a contrast between the strap and watch face. The watch itself is slightly oversized which I felt looked really nice and provided a great mix of masculine and feminine style.    During my recent trip to Morocco, I got the pleasure of taking my new JORD Wooden watch out for a spin. The colours…

My Travel Essentials

With several overseas trips just around the corner, I thought I would share my current, very random list of travel essentials that I will be taking with me on my trip. I’ve listed below everything in the flat lay photo but to call out some of my absolute favourites I am in love with at the moment I couldn’t miss my new beloved Stella McCartney crossbody bag. Sure you can only see a tiny part of it to your left but stay tuned as this baby will start to feature in a lot of outfit posts. It is the most convenient…

Cold Shoulder

I recently got the opportunity to partner up with Poppy’s Apparel and become one of their ambassadors which is amazing! One of my favourite pieces that I bought is this super cool cold shoulder top. I love the fact it’s voluminous, oversized but also made current with its off the shoulder shape. I am a huge fan of this style as I find it is quite a simple shape but looks cool and a little sexy when dressed up.  For anyone interested in checking out the top you can find it here and make sure to get 10% off with the…
