I'm finally back in Portugal! For those of you that maybe don't know I'm half Portuguese and although I live in London, I always try to go back to Portugal as much as I can to see my family and get some R&R. As soon as I am back, life suddenly takes a much slower pace... wearing my mum's vintage dresses, staring out at the stars on the veranda, coffees, swims in the river, walks through town stopping to say hello to everyone you know. Everything seems to take double the time but for once I really don't mind as it is part of the appeal and what makes coming back so special.
Here I decided to put on one of my mum's old vintage dresses from the 80s and pair it with a Victoria Secret basket bag from a few years ago and some white vintage sandals. We took the photos nearby our home on the rocky path coming down to the River which I love because to me the views are also amazing. As my family is originally from the Alentejo in Portugal it is pretty rural and makes for some pretty epic backdrops so sometimes it is nice to dress up to provide the ultimate contrast!
