Palma de Mallorca is the capital city of this beautiful, Balearic island and for me it is definetly somewhere you can visit all year round for sunshine, a-mazing food and culture.
As Mallorca is relatively small, it is so easy to visit Palma, even just for the day if you are staying elsewhere on the island. However if you do get to spend a little more time in Palma, you really do get to explore all of the great things it has to offer! This is the 2 day travel guide to the coolest 48 hours in Palma for where to stay, eat and truly relax.
At The M House Hotel
The M House is a great affordable option in the centre of Palma. It still delivers on the style aspect with a great rooftop cafe and great communal spots if you fancy a cocktail after a day of exploring. The rooms are super stylish and simple with lovely Mallorcan features and contain everything for the msot comforting stay from rainforest showers to a coffee machine.
At The Ocho Hotel
Not only does The Ocho Hotel have an amazing restaurant (more on that later...) but this small but mighty hotel packs a punch too. It's 8 rooms book up fast, with good reason; Ocho is based right by the marina, with excellent views of both the sea and the city, with yoga mats and bicycles to help you sook everything in on your days out. The rooms themselves are super funky and bohemian and The Ocho hotel is just a fun place to be when exploring Palma.
At The Can Bordoy Grand House & Garden
If you want to push the boat out The Can Bordoy is the one for you. The Can Bordoy is really quite a unique place with the perfect mix of glam and rustic featuring overgrown shrubbery and rich velvets that feature both inside and outside. For me the highlight though really is their external pool which feels like you are in your own magical little garden- so dreamy! Don't leave without checking out the spa downstairs!
And Finally If You Want to Stay Outside Palma - Head to Font Santa
For the ultimate in luxury, about a 30 minute drive from Palma, Font Santa is the one! A big draw is their thermal spa which really makes that a great option for visiting even during the colder seasons. Their entire concept is all about wellness with dialy yoga classes, spa treatments and the most amazing rooms to really relax in!
Font Santa Thermal Spa & Wellness, Km 8, Ctra. Campos a sa Colònia de Sant Jordi, 07638 Campos from about £209 per night

At The Duke
For easy-going vibes and aboslutely knock-out delicious food head to The Duke. The Duke features amazing, sharable plates with seafood and veggies a-plenty! Also don't miss their daily smoothies - they really are the tastiest on the Island. My go-to option for food right in the middle of town mixing the best flavours and cooking styles.

At The Ocho Hotel Restaurant
The Ocho restaurant is part of the previously mentioned hotel, serving delicious seafood dishes to share in a candlelit environment. Everything is fresh, seasonal and changes on a nightly basis. The vibe is chic and urban, brewing their own beer and offering some of the best wine from Mallorca. It's small and get's busy fast to make sure to book!
At Ola del Mar Restaurant
For the best sunset views whilst having dinner and drink this is the one for you. Ola Del Mar specialises in the seasfood as oyu would imagine and it doesn't disappoint. The calamari, the paella and the fish are all worth going for with fresh, Mediterranean flavours and great service.

At Rialto Living
Your one stop shop of gorgeous, Mallorcan living! At Rialto living, they have a bit of everything from home furnishings and interior items to fashion and even their very own restaurant. The stunning, old stone building features a carefully curated edit of pieces across multiple categories all in the best, chic, simple Spanish taste. Several items I personally fell in love with with the stone base lamps and the beautiful coffee table books that got my attention as soon as I walked through those huge doors...
At Farmacia on Moll C/Colon
It isn't often the case that a single pharmacy gets a special mention. But this one does due to its large collection of european skincare and bodycare offering endless choice. Plus the staff are super friendly and educated, really helping you with your choices and always pop in a few extra samples before you head out on your way.
