The 8 Best Yoga Brands for Sensitive Skin

[10 MINUTE READ]

In order to stay zen over lockdown, we have been focusing more on our at-home yoga practice, and it has really improved the way we have felt. With more time spent at home than ever before- like many of you- we have decided to upgrade our yoga wear.

However, not all yoga clothes are made equally! So, we have curated a list of some of our favourite yoga wear brands that make the cut from a sustainability perspective, from their range of styles, and their use of the best fabrics for sensitive skins.

These are the best yoga brands that we have found to be stylish and do the job, meaning they don’t go see-through as soon as you are in downward dog; as well as feeling super soft against sensitive skin. Keep reading for our list of the top 8 yoga brands for sensitive skin.

MANDUKA

Confused about what to wear for yoga? One of our favourites is the yogi’s choice: Manduka. Manduka are truly the yoga wear experts in the biz; producing some of the best yoga accessories and clothes we have tried. Their yoga wear is not only non-irritating but also maintains its opacity no matter how much you stretch! Their ethos is all about making better products that last longer, and we can confirm that they do!

No matter how many times you wash their yoga clothes, they still look as good as the first time – and no, we aren’t exaggerating! We also love their men’s yoga clothes that, like their female equivalent, are chic and simple, whilst maintaining the highest quality and fabrics; perfect for your boyfriend's sensitive skin.

Yoga Matters

Staying on the accessories front, Yoga Matters is a favourite of many yoga teachers and schools for good reason. When it comes to accessories, they offer one of the best product ranges that we have seen. If you are stepping up your yoga practice over lockdown and are looking for a meditation cushion, eye pillow, yoga mat cleaner, or anything else a bit more niche, they are the one to go to.

Not only do they use mostly natural fabrics and materials like cotton and cork, but they are also made for both beginners and yoga teachers alike, so no matter what your skill level, you can really find what you are after. When it comes to their yoga clothes they have their own label as well as retailing other brands too.

Their own brand offers basic, good quality, and super soft yoga wear for curvy bodies and a whole range of shapes and sizes.

Bamboo Clothing

If sustainable yoga clothes are your highest priority then BAM yoga wear is the one for you! Bamboo Clothing creates not only everyday clothing made fully from bamboo but also, offers some of the comfiest and softest yoga wear on the market. Bamboo absorbs 5x more carbon than hardwood trees, which means it needs half the land cotton needs to produce the same amount of fiber, and it doesn’t need pesticides! Their bamboo range also offers great choices when it comes to styles and print, including everything from classic cycling shorts to a full yoga jumpsuit.
