Still spending your weekend in Pyjamas? Me too and I intend to remain in them until Spring hits... So quite frankly I felt there could be nothing better that putting together a few of my favourite pyjamas.
Apparently we spend 26 years of our lives sleeping and if you want to get a resful sleep there is honestly nothing better than curling up in the softest cotton or silk. Investing does not have to break the bank, so there are options for all price points.
However, if you are looking for the ultimate in luxury pyjamas there is really only one place to go; Olivia Von Halle. Not only are we a few years apart at the same undergraduate course and the same University (Leeds!) her pieces are the ultimate in designer sleepwear with every detail so beautifully handcrafted! If you want sleepwear that you could wear outside, to bed and quite frankly everywhere in between these are the ones! Sleepy Jones and Desmond & Dempsey are also two gorgeous choices if your budget doesn't quite stretch the full hog but still want pieces that will last you for years and give you the luxury element.
I couldn't mention pyjamas and not mention Sleeper. Sleeper is one of my favourite brands, in fact i even interviewed the founders recently (check out the article here) and they make such gorgeous pieces that really can be worn universally. Whether its on the beach, at a party or in bed their pieces are some of the most stunning, laid back items you will ever have in your wardrobe. Asceno, Three Graces and Rails are also three other choices I always go back to.
If you are less about extravagance and more all about the cosiest fabrics then my favourites include Ninety Percent, Morgan Lane, Eberjey and Skin. These truly are the best of the best when it comes to fabric quality and feel and for irritated skins there is truly nothing quite like these. For options on the high street you really can't go wrong with Gap; it's a classic for a reason! Equally H&M has really stepped up their sleepwear game recently and I am loving their most recent styles; both in terms of shape as well as non-irritating fabrics.
I've rounded up my favourite picks of the best luxurious, cosy, and oh so comfy pyjamas for the best sleep of your life.
