I am here to spread the word on my favourite lingerie and loungewear brands that truly get it right with a gorgeous fit, super cool styles and the softest fabrics. This is your guide to the best lingerie brands for sensitive skins.
AIKYOU
AIKYOU is a new brand I have recently discovered, and have completely fallen in love with their timeless and super chic pieces. Their bras in particular are so gorgeous! And they have tasked themselves with creating the little black dress of the bra world. All their products and materials are tested according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 and are non-allergenic; which is music to my sensitive ears! For anyone with a nickel allergy all of AIKYOU's pieces are completely nickel free in all the clasps and adjusters they use.
WORON
Like many other Scandi brands Woron is just so damn cool. Their pieces are honestly the softest things you will ever touch and so so comfortable you won't ever want to take them off! I am also not one for layers of padding, I like to keep things simple but cool. So Woron is perfect for me as they are as simple as it gets; focusing on an excellent fit and every little detail. Their tank tops are a particular stand-out item as you can wear them under jumpers, to bed or wherever else you fancy. Plus much like AIKYOU sustainability is at the core of what they do.
BASE RANGE
Baserange is yet another sustainable brand also taking sensitive skin seriously. Their incredibly simple silhouettes and muted colour palette is perfect for those who just want underwear and loungewear that does the job, whilst not irritating the skin.
KENT WOMAN
No scratchy frills, KENT is all about pure, organic silks in the most gorgeous shades. All of their silk pieces are hypo-allergenic and focus on organic silk's natural qualities. Which include being breathable and temperature regulating- win/win. Also very into their Female Future Project. This is where they partner with social enterprises and non-profits that support women with each KENT item sold.
SKIN
Skin is very chic; essentially what you wish you look like when you dream of your perfect airport outfit, or Sunday outfit, or any outfit really... Probably the widest range of all the brands on this list. You have so much choice and every item is so gorgeously simple and so so soft! The whole brand is made from natural fabrics, including organic cotton that don't irritate and feel super luxe.
HANRO
It started out with the knitted silk camisole. But since then Hanro has grown exponentially but continues to focus on their high-end, circular knitted and seamless pieces. Since they've been around since 1884 they have a huge selection across multiple categories. They continue to be best known for their simple but sensitive skin-friendly lingerie and sleepwear. Using a lot of high-quality silks and cottons these are my go-tos when it comes to brilliant lingerie that's easy.
