The 5 Body Products For Sensitive Skin In Winter

Winter is that classic time of year that so many of us suffer with sensitive skin on our body. Whether it's caused by the colder temperatures, the constant central heating or even the multiple layers we wear the result is often itchy, sensitive red skin that isn't happy. If you are one of those people who always seem to suffer this time of year look no further I have 5 products I swear by to help nurse your body back to normality.

1. Clinique Deep Comfort Body Lotion/Butter

If your sensitive skin is more of the dry skin variety or mild then highly recommend Clinique's Deep Comfort. It really is exactly what it says on the tin; extremely comforting! I have used it for years and it truly is the best thing to apply to your entie body in winter and your skin needs some extra TLC. I also really like that the same cream comes in two different textures; the lighter lotion or the thicker butter. So, if you are a fan of buttery, luxurious body creams go for the butter; it might be thick but it sinks in gloriously, or if you prefer a lighter consistancy go for the lotion!

2. Goop Nurse! Under the Weather Bath Soak

A recent addition to my arsenal of sensitive skin products, I am truly obssessed with this one! If like me you are sensitive to many essential oils, it can really feel like you are missing out on a luxurious bathing experience without them. However, I have found that as this bath soak uses mustard pwoder, manuka honey and eucaplyptus it doesn't irritate my skin at all - quite the opposite!

The gorgeous ingredients really seem to nourish my skin and are incredibly comforting on my whole body. The incredible scent is also so relaxing and really helps if you feel as though you are about to get ill! Goop also has a whole host of other bath soaks that I am keen to try!

3. Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion

I swear by this one! If you sensitive skin is more of the roughy, scaly variety then this one is for you. It was created for people with Keratosis Pilaris and whether you have this or just sensitive, bumpy skin this winter then this body lotion is a lifesaver. It works by both lightly exfoliating as well as moisturising your skin and I can attest that it really does help with ingrown hairs, bumpy or just downright sensitive skin on your body. Comes in both fragrance free and regular for those of you irritated by fragrance like me! A great moisturiser for dry sensitive skin.

4. Aveeno Skin Relief Body Lotion

Another amazing option for really soothing irritated, sensitive skin on your body. This one is fragrane free but they also have other ones in their range that aren't. Each one I've tried in the range is incredibly fast absorbing which I love and really does the job if you are in a rush! The best moisturizer for dry sensitive skin.

5. Pai Pomegranate & Pumpkin Seed Stretch Mark System

If you are more eczema-prone that always seems to get worse in Winter then this one is just such a delight. It really helps to deeply moisturise your body and sooth the itchy feeling often associated with eczema. It is super luxurious and a gorgeous selfcare treat. Added bonus; helps with stretch marks and cellulite too!

For a body wash for sensitive skin we always recommend Clinique's Deep Comfort Body Wash & Simple Body Wash.
